Delegate Information

The conference will be held at the Bunting Road campus of the University of Johannesburg.
There are several entrances to the campus. You need to use the Gloria Sekwena gate.
You will need some form of identification to enter campus – i.e. a South African ID or driver’s license or a passport if you are not South African.
Once on campus, make your way to the registration tables just outside the FADA auditorium. The tables will be there from 7 am on Tuesday 5 December.
The Welcome and Opening speeches will happen between 8 and 8:30 in the FADA auditorium.
All plenary talks will be in the FADA auditorium.
There is limited parking close to the FADA auditorium, which you can use.
If this parking is full then feel free to park anywhere else on campus.

The Tuesday evening cocktail function will take place at Constitution Hill in Braamfontein.
This is the site of the Constitutional Court, which is built on the site of a former prison. As indicated in an email last week, busses will be available to transport delegates to and from the venue. If you are driving, there is secure parking at Constitution Hill. (Travel along Empire Rd, then turn right into Joubert St and left into the parking.) Busses will return delegates to the UJ Bunting Rd campus at the end of the function. As soon as the last talks on Tuesday are finished we ask delegates to make their way to the busses, which will leave from outside where the lunch is served.
The Wednesday evening gala dinner will take place at the Johannesburg Country Club in Auckland Park. This is a 1.2km drive from the conference venue. For those who will have driven themselves to the conference, you can easily drive to the Country Club where there is ample parking. There will also be one-way shuttles for those that have Ubered to the conference venue.
